Panavia Tornado ed Eurofighter dell’Aeronautica Militare, dispiegati in Kuwait nella Task Force Devil, hanno condotto l’esercitazione “Incendi Congiunti” assieme al Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command (SP-MAGTF-CC) del Corpo dei Marines.
La Task Force dei Marines è stata attivata nel 2013 per rispondere in tempi brevi ad una vasta verità di minacce nella zona di pertinenza del CENTCOM ed è permanentemente dispiegata in una località sconosciuta in Kuwait.
Durante l’esercitazione Marines e FAC (Forward Air Controller ) hanno indicato ai velivoli italiani i bersagli da colpire nel poligono per migliorare l’interoperabilità tra le Forze statunitensi e gli assetti dell’Aeronautica Militare.
